New Student Webinars

In the months leading up to New Student Orientation, Georgetown will be conducting virtual webinars on Zoom to introduce incoming students to the Georgetown experience. These sessions will cover a multitude of topics concerning preparing for life as a new student.

The schedule for summer webinars is included below, including the link to RSVP for each event. You must RSVP to access the Zoom link. Additionally, new students must be logged in to their Georgetown Zoom account to join the webinar, and this can be done by clicking on “Sign in with SSO” in the Zoom login page. After a webinar has concluded, a recording will be posted on this page.

Eating Made Easy: Understanding your meal plan and tips to eating healthy on campus (June 30, 2021 at 5:00pm EDT)

Topic: An overview of Meal Plans and other dining services provided at Georgetown.

What You Need to Know About Financial Aid (July 14, 2021 at 5:00pm EDT)
Presenters: Office of Student Financial Services
Topic: A session demystifying the financial aid process at Georgetown University.

Residential Living (July 28, 2021 at 5:00pm EDT)
Presenters: Office of Residential Living, Residential Education, and Residential Services
Topic: Learn about the residential experience and what students can expect when moving in to Georgetown’s living and learning communities.

Parent and Family Session (August 4, 2021 at 5:00pm EDT)
