When is NSO?
Fall 2026 New Student Orientation (NSO) will take place from Friday, August 21st to Tuesday, August 25th.
Whether you are a first-year, transfer, or international student, NSO is an exciting experience where you prepare for your academic and co-curricular journey, meet current students, staff, and faculty, and establish connections with other new students.
There are a number of engaging events, from exploring Georgetown and the surrounding area during Destination D.C., to the Jesuit Values and Marino Family Workshop sessions. Each day of NSO ends with a Georgetown Weeks of Welcome (GWOW) sponsored evening event. More information about those events will be released closer to August.
The Georgetown community looks forward to welcoming new students to the Hilltop. More information regarding Fall 2026 NSO, including the registration link and official schedule of events, will be made available closer to August. Housing assignments and move-in information will also be announced at a later date, but please contact Residential Living at residentialliving@georgetown.edu with any specific questions.
New students can register for NSO through CampusGroups, which is Georgetown’s student engagement platform, and they must sign in with their NetID and password. This information will be provided in future communications, starting in May.
