Orientation, Transition, and Family Engagement is led by full-time professional staff and part-time graduate assistants who have extensive experience and expertise in working with new student and family programs. The professional staff collaborate closely with colleagues across campus to design a holistic transition experience for new students and families/supporters while partnering with student leaders to bring each individual program to fruition.

Ana Gutierrez-Perez
Ana Gutierrez-Perez (she/her) is the Director of Orientation, Transition, and Family Engagement. Ana provides leadership to manage and further develop new student programs. Ana is originally from Fort Worth, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Tarleton State University, a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Georgetown University. After graduating from Georgetown, Ana worked at Tulane University’s Office of First-Year Experience and the Office of Student Orientation and Transition at the University of Maryland in College Park.
AJ Gluchowski
AJ Gluchowski (he/him) is the Graduate Assistant for Orientation Programs. He is from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and grew up playing bagpipes with the Liberty High School Grenadier Band. He graduated with honors from the University of Mary Washington (UMW) with a B.A. in Communication and Digital Studies, and is now studying Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown. During his time at UMW, AJ spent a lot of time working with the New Student Programs team, facilitating both orientation and transition programs.
Ana Nenadic
Ana Nenadic (she/her) is a Graduate Assistant with the Orientation, Transition, and Family Engagement team. She is from Croatia and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in European Studies within Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She earned a Master of Arts in Global Affairs from the University of Notre Dame, where she concentrated on Governance and Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University. Ana has worked internationally in higher education, research, and program management. At Georgetown, she is excited to bring her cross-cultural experience to support student success and community building on the Hilltop.
