The Student Coordinator responsibilities include:
Hi, my name is Luke Hogan. I am from Boston, MA and am a rising Junior in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Accounting and Management! I am excited to be a Cornerstone Coordinator while supporting our amazing mentors and first-year students in the program. In tangent to Cornerstone, I am an ESCAPE Leader, VITA Tax Preparer, aviation enthusiast, and reader! I also enjoy trying new places to eat in DC (which is also a great reason to join Cornerstone!).
Hi! My name is Devan Varma. I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan (616 stand-up!). I am a rising junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Political Economics and Psychology. I am so excited to be working for Cornerstone and helping new students become acclimated to Georgetown. Beyond coordinating the Cornerstone program, I love watching movies, hitting the gym, and cooking with my friends. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Cornerstone Peer Mentors
Peer Mentor Applications are now closed.
Cornerstone Peer Mentors are facilitators leading and mentoring first-year and transfer students throughout their Cornerstone experience. Peer Mentors support students in reflecting and discussing their Georgetown experience with a peer group. They also encourage new students by identifying their own future goals, challenges, and action steps in a small-group setting. The goal is that through the support of a Peer Mentor, new students will have the support, skills, and resources to find their foundation within a social community context.
