Georgetown Weeks of Welcome (GWOW)

First-Years & Transfers: Prelude is a unique opportunity for invited first-year students to engage with faculty, staff and students prior to officially beginning their Georgetown career. The programming will consist of a reception, followed by remarks from esteemed faculty members. After the reception, prelude participants will engage in break-out sessions with Georgetown Weeks of Welcome (GWOW) student Welcome Ambassadors that will facilitate a personal interaction between first year students and current Georgetown students. Later in the day, students will be lead into a 1-2 hour class of their choosing with some of Georgetown’s most prestigious professors. The programming will conclude in the evening as prelude participants will have the opportunity to reconvene with their breakout groups prior to commencing NSO!

If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to gwow@georgetown.edu.
