Community Service Day

September 3, 2016

Community Service Day (CSD) is an annual event at the beginning of the academic year intended to introduce first year students to community service and social justice issues in Washington, D.C. The Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching & Service (CSJ) coordinates diverse service projects throughout Ward 7 for hundreds of first-year students. If you’re interested in getting involved in service during your time at Georgetown or if you want to learn more about the DC community, CSD is the perfect place to start!
